The Government of India had planned many legal implements to prevent early marriage. Central and state governments have also channeled different cash transfers conditional on free education, with better programming which meant to encourage\ investment in girls’ human capital. In addition, there are numerous ongoing adolescent health programs under different ministries in India. At the same time, the problem of early marriage in India is not structurally uniform. In between states and districts high variability of child marriage is been noticed which advocates that subnational policies and programs should be addressed the local for early marriage and early childbearing.
