One of the biggest fashion events, the Victorias secret fashion show is slated to be held later this year probably by November end or first week of December. The date has not been confirmed as yet. Here is all the information about this event that you need to know:
1. The Venue: Victoria’s secret fashion show has been held everywhere from LA to Miami and Landon to Paris. This year the beauty event is going to be held in The Big Apple once again. This was announced in the brand’s Instagram post. The exact place is New York is yet to be confirmed by the authorities. Last year, the event was held in Shanghai, China. Some women including Katy Perry and Gigi Hadid were reportedly denied Visas to travel there. The after-party was also shut down before midnight by the authorities.
2. Return of your favourite models: This year will see the return of veteran models like Grace Elizabeth, Cindy Bruna, Leomie Anderson, Stella Maxwell, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Devon Windsor and more. One can also hope to catch Behati Prinsloo, who was absent in the last two shows due to pregnancies.
3. New faces to watch out for: The Victoria’s Secret fashion show 2018 will showcase several new faces as well. Winnie Harlow is one such lucky one who gets to debut to the big stage. The model announced this on her emotional Instagram post. Nadine Leopald, Sadie Newman, Sofe Grace Rovenstine, Duckie Thot, Kelsey Merritt, Lorena Rae, Cheyenne Maya Carty, Josie Canseco, Alannah Walton, Mayowa Nicholas, Sabah Koj, Yasmin Wijnaldum, Maia Cotton, are few other new faces that debut this year.
4. You won’t get to see Alessandra Embrosio: There is some bad news for the fans of Alessandra Ambrosio. The model confirmed her retirement in an Instagram post last year. She had been walking the ramp for Victorias secret since the past seventeen shows. This Brazilian model and actress was also chosen as the first spokesperson for company’s PINK line. She will surely be missed!
5. Some popular names still unconfirmed: The presence of While Bella at Victoria’s secret event is not confirmed as yet. The model walked the ramp last year but till now she has not posted anything regarding the event in any of her posts up till now. Neither the brand has made any announcements. Same is the case with her sister, Gigi Hadid. Another popular name, Kendell Jenner, might also not be seen this time around. The celebrity model was seen in 2016 fashion show but as she has contractual obligations with competing lingerie brand La Perla due to which she was absent in 2017 event and is likely to be absent this time around too.
