“IF WE DARE THE DIFFERENCE, THE DIFFERENCE WILL DELIVER”.  –  CHRISTINE LAGARDE

All powers are lent to men in India, and it begins from childhood. It can be given education, food, lifestyle, work, etc. Women are not getting are encouraged to study and work. But they are compelled to get married. However, things are altering now. Gone are those days when she sat at home and seized care of the family. These days, women are highly focused, and they seek to achieve their goals and believe in being independent.

The 21st century poses many challenges that expect new ways of thinking. None of them is more crucial than the economic role of women in a shortly-changing world. But women today persist blocked from contributing to their true ability. This has a large cost. In some countries, the per capita income is extremely low because women are not given equal chances. They are half the world’s population. But their economic assistance is far less than 50%. We have to alter this situation. For empowering women, suggest three Ls – Learning, Labour and Leadership.

Education is the institute on which any change is assembled. Learning enables women to help themselves and smash free of the chains with which they are bound. This is more essential in the developing world. In Africa, there is a familiar saying: “If you educate a boy, you train a man. If you educate a girl, you train a village.

Labour is the second step. Labour enables women to prosper and achieve their true potential. Unfortunately, today, even when women work, they are often restricted to jobs where the pay, status and security are low. Globally, women attain only % as much as men, even when they have comparable education and similar jobs. One of our significant ideas should be “equal pay for equal work”. Researches show that eliminating gender inequality in economic participation can bring an improvement in per capita income.

The 3rd L is leadership. It encourages women to rise and full their inborn capacities and talents. Sometimes women create better leaders than men. Women incline to make decisions based on inclusion, consensus building, compassion and sustainability. Sometimes women certainly lack the dignity to match their competence. They have to alter their mindset. They should be ready to “dare the difference”, seize risks and step outside their solace zones. But they face a lot of obstacles. These barriers are seen even when we talk about lending primary education to girls in a village and pardoning executive positions to women in business.

It is time to assemble a world where all women can thrive to their potential. The world will obtain the benefits. The three Ls will enable  to get there. We should avert all the limitations in the names of religion, culture, and other social barriers which impede women from amassing quality education and restrict them from coming into the attention of society. If entice to face the challenges and do our responsibilities the difference will deliver.
